A level review
yea~
here's my A level review..
many people say that A level is the MOST IMPORTANT exams in one's entire life.
indeed, it's really important. cos it decides which career path you're gonna take.
but... actually, for many people, their success have nothing to do with what they studied. so... eh is A level really that important?!
hahaha....
oh ya... some also said it's the most difficult exam too!(btw, i sound like writing a GP essay now!lol!)
but for me...i think it's the weirdest exam ever!!! seriously!
for people who haven't been through A level, you may want to look at my review as a reference for your future endeavour! hahahaha....(i sound really weird!)
and for those who had been through this A level, esp this year's, hahaha...and you're looking at this entry... you may share the sentiments as me.. yea? or may be not... hahaha...
so anyway... in A level, EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED!!!
be prepared to be stunned!!! ya! even in the exam hall! going through A level is really a "cool" experience i can say... cos you'll never experience that kinda stunned moment in other circumstances... been through A level....i think O level is nothing! (don't agree? give me a clap then!) hahaha...
so here's the beginning of the toughest times in my life!!

let's start with GP! (since it's always a first paper!)
OMG!! GP was really a disaster i must say! i think that essay was one of my worst! omg! i'm so worried about whether i will pass or not...sian...
the essay qns i chose was "Air travel should be discouraged, not promoted."
(aiya. wanted to upload the GP paper 1 but ah...like cannot upload leh...nvm nx time then.)
i really wanted to do the immigrant question. it's sort of the easier qns than the rest. but didn't really prepare for that qns. or actually...never prepared for that qns at all!! hahaha... omg!! i really regret! i rmbed for my GSC exam last year. i prepared that topic! argh!!
as i was dissecting the qns...this was on my mind.."what the hell is this DISCOURAGED, NOT PROMOTED! aren't they the same thing?! what the freak! there must be some trick here..."really frustrated with these...after planning..i was on my way to an "impressive" essay..hahaha.... half way through, i saw my friend(Ben actually) was writing the same qns as me!! oh no! his essays are really good! those A type student lo!!(and after paper1, i found out my another smart friend wrote the same qns as me. and she said she's aiming for an A....omg!! her confidence is freaking me out!! TOTALLY!!)
that day, my thoughts just weren't flowing... damn! i'm just praying that it wasn't as what i thought it would be.. =)
as for paper 2, eh..it's okay. it's on HISTORY!!! so you know... hahaha.. but as usual, not enough for my AQ. i have lots to write..but..well...
hmm....next...let's talk about Math!
i think the math qns weren't as weird as my prelims... at least it's doable!!
i mug like shit for math after prelims la...(actually...not really mugged like shit..hahaha...but actually..i did did alot for math...ok whatever!! see my incoherence and inconsistency!!)
i made a few careless mistake i think. and i realise i could do the hard qns and trick qns but not the easy qns! omg!! damn pissed! hahaha... ah well!! i'm done for math!!! yeah!!
ahem* for those ppl who haven't taken A level..listen to this. math is really about consistent work. and the term "consistent" include alot alot alot damn lot of hard work okay!! cos at first i thought by doing my tutorials and 10 year series was enough...but i was wrong!! you need to do lot more than that.... and really need to sharpen your skills every now and then.. so ya ppl! work hard for math or you'll regret it... you know before the exam...my math madam(Mdm Kat lim) sent us a msg....it goes like this.."hi children! all the best for the paper later.math is the only subject that you can possibly score full marks in(provided you don't panic!),so just go in and ace it ya? remain calm and write your workings big big if need be. the minute you lose composure, things get more confusing....."she's so nice right! notice the bolded words?! ya! you never see wrongly!! hahaha....
full marks!! wth..it's so..so ... so far from reach! hahaaha!!!
actually she's theoretically correct! but not practically right! hahaha.... she's really smart! she got the MOE teaching scholarship de lo! she's someone i look up to be!! lol!
eh...i realised i've wrote so much! it's so long! omg!

alright cut long story short!
right. next. econs maybe...
eh...you know what.. right before entering the hall i freak out! totally freak out! my mind just went blank la!! omg!! it's damn scary!! it's like the things i'm reading...nothing is going in.
so i decide to just stop reading anything there. cos my brain is in a total mess then!!
but when i saw the essay qns... phew!!
one was micro the other macro. both was doable qns. but i chose the macro one.
but now i regret. like not much evaluation to write. sian! nvm...i should trust what i chose! and never regret!! yea~! that's the way man!
oh ya! this year econs is weird! both case study were MACRO!!!
(btw, we are the last batch taking this syllabus. next batch has no micro at all. all macro. and btw again....this NEW syllabus lasted only 2 batches!! the previous and mine batch! so you know how effective and fabulous is our MOE! hahahaha...joking la!)
so maybe that's why they're preparing for the ALL MACRO batch!? eh..whatever....
anyhow...we're on to the science!! i took chem and phy.
hmm... let's analyse paper by paper!
paper 3 is a super duber long paper!! damn tedious!!
but it's a sure PASS paper! so fret not ppl!!
BUT!! paper 2 is the "sure kill all" paper!! it's a paper that's easy to fail!! hahaha!!!
paper 1 is the "save all paper!!" cos if you screw up the other 2 papers, the only thing that can save you and secure your A is PAPER 1!!! so undermine the power and importance of paper 1!!!
but alot ppl slack for paper 1! especially when paper 1 is our last paper! like my friend HB, he completely never study for phy paper 1(our last paper!).
oh! so that's all i guess...
so tired now...like going through A level once again doing this review! hahaha....
sorry for the slip-shortness for the last section...hahaha..
but that's really important okay!! hahaha....
